Knit every day in May

Every 13 minutes, someone in the UK gets diagnosed with a blood cancer or disorder. Knit this May to make a lifesaving difference.

Want to join our fundraising challenge and knit this May?

We’re calling on those who want to pick up their needles and yarn this May to support those impacted by blood cancers and disorders.

You get to choose the goal for this challenge – whether that’s spending 30 minutes a day on your knitting, learning a new stitch, or starting a new project. In fact, if you haven’t knitted before, this might be a great time to learn!

You’ll have a progress tracker on your fundraising page that can log every day that you knit. If you’d rather crochet, stitch, or sew, that’s fine too!

Why sign up?

Those going through a stem cell transplant have told us of the emotional toll that the procedure can take, not just the physical one. We’re opening this challenge up not only as a way to fundraise, but to enable those who want some time to pause, look away from screens, and reflect, a chance to do so.

The knitty-gritty details

We’re here to support you on this challenge, so don’t hesitate to reach out to us at any point on community@anthonynolan.org

We also have a list of FAQs that you can refer to.

We’ll be sharing details in our Facebook Group about different techniques of knitting you can do, links to free patterns, and tips for beginners.

Thank you so much for choosing to take part. Your fundraising will contribute to someone’s second chance at life.
